New Spring
COS x Studio Swine / RSA Films
Celebrating Salone del Mobile 2017, COS has partnered with London-based design duo Studio Swine to create New Spring, an interactive installation and multi-sensory experience in Milan’s historic Cinema Arti.
Designed to use minimal resources, the installation presents ephemeral materials in a strange new context; delicate mist-filled ‘blossoms’ that disappear on contact with skin, but can be held by visitors wearing special gloves. Producing these blossoms is the installation’s bold centrepiece, a tree-like sculpture that references the ornate chandeliers of Milanese palazzos.

Terraforming
Swarovski / Studio Swine / RSA Films
Terraforming depicts a crystal planet that has been discovered in the galaxy. It follows a young cartographer's journey to the planet, where he engineers the environment to be habitable for humans using various tools of exploration.
The first ever object to be designed by man 1.7 million years ago was a flint hand axe. Flint has the same molecular structure as a crystal and they both consist of silica. The project juxtaposes the flint hand axe with the latest crystal technology; Xero chaton the world's smallest precision cut crystal measuring 0.6mm in diameter, smaller than a grain of sand.
Terraforming is a project commissioned for Designer of the Future 2015 by Swarovski at Design Miami/ Basel.

Kiosque
Emerige / Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec / RSA Films
Kiosque are two modular pavilions designed by studio Bouroullec and commissioned by Emerige and Galerie kreo. The project was donated to the City of Paris as a flexible space for social and cultural events. Kiosque is constructed like an urban furniture, manufactured by the atelier La Machine in Nantes. It can be easily carried in a truck and assembled within three hours.
